National Library Card Sign-Up Month
The Manteno Public Library is thrilled to celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month this September! Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to the area, signing up for a library card is your passport to knowledge, adventure, and discovery!
If you don’t have a library card, make sure to sign up this September and you will be entered in our “Read Local” Prize Bag giveaway. If you already have a library card, every time you use it at MPL, you will be entered into the prize bag giveaway. We also have custom MPL keychains that we are giving out — find out how you can earn one this month by asking us as the circulation desk! *1 per patron, while supplies last* While we encourage everyone to join in celebrating National Library Card Sign-up Month this September, please note that the keychains and giveaways are exclusively for new and existing Manteno Public Library cardholders aged 16 and above.National Library Card Sign-Up month will officially begin September 3rd and will end on September 30th.
